Reaching the Unreached in South and Central Asia

The Wholistic approach to International Christian Community Development

A grass-roots movement

About Us

Health Environmental Learning Program Global, was founded in June 2026 by a medical doctor and ecologist/environmentalist who worked 35 years  in South Asia following the example of Jesus Christ and the early church to minister to the whole person addressing spirit, body, and soul through Christian community development.

Using the model of Jesus' ministry to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the poor, our focus is to equip the national church and assist them in developing their own community and ministering to people of all faiths. Through Christian community development in the areas of children and youth ministry, literacy and nonformal education, animal husbandry, health, agriculture and organic farming, income generation, and environment preservation, we serve the vulnerable populations of Asia.

National believers are encouraged to love Christ first and then love their neighbors by leading their communities to develop. God is using H.E.L.P.Global to alleviate the spiritual and physical poverty of the poor in Asia.

Luke 10:27, Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

What Makes H.E.L.P. Unique?

Body

Through Non-formal Education Classes those who never learned how to read and write in the local language, or how to perform basic math are taught by Christians who care for the whole person

Mind

H.E.L.P. Nepali staff use hands-on and in-classroom training to teach farmers how to better take care of their health, land, and livestock.

Spirit

Many people have never heard of Christ or His love and are open to know Him.  The predominant religions where HELP Go works are Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism, but the church is growing.

Field Coordinators

All of H.E.LP's outreach relies on the co-laboring with local Christians and our trained Extension Agents and Coordinators.  These men and women are leaders within their community and church who assist in community needs assessment, follow-up, impact and results after training, and more. As a grass-roots organization, these leaders, paid only when they are involved in training, provide support months and years after H.E.L.P. health, agriculture, veterinary, and literacy experts provide training. These Extension Agents and Coordinators also ensure that government and community leaders are involved and aware of H.E.L.P. training and supervise the many national volunteers.
