Sharing Christ
Evangelism
At the heart of everything H.E.L.P. does is a desire to share the love of Jesus Christ with the people of Nepal. We believe that meeting physical needs opens doors to share the Gospel. Our Nepali staff and Group Representatives live and work alongside the communities they serve, building relationships that reflect Christ's love in word and deed.
Matthew 28:19-20 — "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Our Approach
H.E.L.P. operates on the principle that holistic ministry — addressing body, mind, and spirit — is the most effective way to demonstrate the love of God. Our programs in agriculture, health, literacy, and income generation are not ends in themselves. They are expressions of Christ's compassion and bridges to the Gospel message. Every training, every sponsored child, every clean water project is an opportunity to show that God cares for the whole person.
Community Health Evangelism
Our Community Health Workers are trained not only in basic medical care but also in sharing their faith. As they visit homes and conduct health screenings, they build trust and open conversations about spiritual health. This integrated approach — caring for the body while sharing hope for the soul — is central to H.E.L.P.'s mission in the Himalayas.
Empowering Local Believers
H.E.L.P. has no U.S.-based workers in Nepal. All of our field staff are Nepali nationals — believers who understand the culture, speak the language, and have a deep love for their own people. We invest in training and equipping local leaders to carry the Gospel forward in ways that are culturally rooted and sustainable for generations to come.
Reaching the Unreached
Nepal's remote Himalayan communities are among the least-reached people groups in the world. Geographic isolation, language barriers, and centuries of Hindu and Buddhist tradition make Gospel access difficult. H.E.L.P. works in these hard-to-reach areas precisely because the need is greatest — bringing practical help and the hope of Christ to those who have never heard His name.
